Nelson Hotels & Inns is an award-winning, family-run collection of hotels, inns and restaurants across Cheshire and surrounding areas, offering a diverse and unique portfolio of properties with a shared attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Their fifth venue, The Manor at Greasby, is set to open this winter, offering a gastro-pub style restaurant and an elegant wedding and events barn.

The Barn at the Manor will cater up to 80 guests for seated wedding receptions and special events, with more informal events accommodating up to 100 evening guests. Bespoke wedding packages will be available to book, with the options for added upgrades and supplements, allowing couples to tailor make their celebration to their exact requirements.

About Rachel:

Rachel began her career in the hospitality industry after finishing her degree at The University of Lancaster in 2013, taking on her first role at Rowton Hall Hotel. Since then, she has furthered her career in weddings and events at the 5-star Chester Grosvenor and as part of the VIP Catering and Hospitality team at Liverpool Echo Arena. In 2019, she joined Nelson Hotels & Inns as Deputy General Manager at the 5-star Pheasant Inn and is now ready to embark on her next challenge as Weddings and Events Manager at The Manor, Greasby.

Rachel is looking forward to beginning the all-important journey down the aisle with future couples where she will meet with them for show rounds, take enquiries by phone and email, and meet with couples to discuss final details. Her biggest challenge when organising a wedding is the importance of meeting the couple’s expectations, being that a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Rachel will strive to develop an excellent rapport with all couples, this together with her experience will assure that Rachel can execute each couple’s vision and make their big day a reality.

Rachel comments: “The relationship between myself and the couple is not one which will end when the day draws to a close. I look forward to following up with couples to hear about their wedding and see their photography. It will be great to hear how their special day went and of course, invite them back to celebrate their anniversary with Nelson Hotels & Inns”.
